The Dirt Devil Tattoo vacuum is a canister model with several different prints to choose from. To be honest, they look more like vector designs – but that’s not a bad thing. In this review of the Dirt Devil Tattoo vacuum cleaner, I’ll go over the strengths and weaknesses of this model and decide if it’s worth the $90 price tag. I actually think it’s a great idea to try to turn a boring, every day appliance into a hip, eye-catching machine. Here’s a quick rundown of the features you’ll get with this model: a 20 foot power cord, automatic cord rewind, 11 inch nozzle width, a powerful 10 amp motor, dusting brush and crevice tool. Obviously, the feature set on this vacuum is not too extensive – but, it at least covers the basics.
OK, onto the negative aspects of the Dirt Devil Tattoo vacuum. One complaint I have is that the bag and canister area is very small. This model is definitely meant for smaller living spaces. On the other hand, being smaller makes it easier to store. Another thing I’m not too fond of is the suction power, which really isn’t that great. It does much better on bare floors than carpet – so that’s something to consider if you only have carpet. All in all, the Dirt Devil Tattoo vacuum cleaner is a nice little unit for very small spaces, but don’t expect it to replace your powerful upright model. As it is, I’m giving it a 3.8 / 5 star rating.
