The Dirt Devil Ultra Swivel Glide vacuum is an upright model with specially designed casters, which allow it to turn effortlessly. In this review of the Dirt Devil Ultra Swivel Glide vacuum cleaner, I’ll go over the positive and negative aspects of this model, then decide if it’s worth buying. Currently, you can find this unit on sale for around $70, which is a very reasonable price. Here’s a quick rundown of the features you’ll find on this model: Micro Fresh filtration, patented swivel casters, 12 amp motor, 25 ft power cord, a headlight, 5 height adjustments, stretch hose with extension wand, crevice tool, dusting brush, and it’s also very lightweight. At this price level, you really can’t expect a whole lot of extra features on a vacuum. However, this model has a pretty decent line-up.
Alright, onto the negative aspects of the Dirt Devil Ultra Swivel Glide vacuum. First off, I don’t like that it doesn’t have a brush roll on and off switch. This makes it a little too messy to clean bare floors well. On carpet it does great, however it can be a little hard to push on high pile carpets. I’ve also noticed that this model can get pretty noisy at times. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with suction power and agility of the Dirt Devil Ultra Swivel Glide. By no means is it on the same level as a Dyson, but this vacuum cleaner does a fine job of cleaning up smaller spaces. I’m giving it a 3.8 / 5 star rating.
