Our Dirt Devil Versa vacuum review:It’s not every day you come across a $20 vacuum, especially one that works half way decent. Well, the Dirt Devil Versa Power is one such model. A few of it’s best features include: converts to handheld vac, crevice tool, 13 inch cleaning path, bagless design, and an easy empty dirt container. As you can see, not a lot of extras on this one, but more than you’d expect from such a cheap vacuum cleaner. I think the design can actually be considered one of it’s best assets. It looks super stylish and slim. Also, it is super-lightweight at only 3.8 pounds.
Now I’ll go over a few things I don’t like about the Dirt Devil Versa vacuum. First off, the 16 ft power cord is way too short. I know this isn’t a model you would sweep up the whole house with, but it would still be nice to have a longer cord. Second, it doesn’t do so well on carpet. It’s actually only meant for bare floors, so this is understandable. It just means you have to use a different vacuum on those rugs. The Dirt Devil Versa Power model has pretty good suction for a small unit, but it’s definitely not going to pick up anything too big. Overall, I’m giving it a 4.2 / 5 star rating.
