The Dirt Devil Vision Canister vacuum is a bagless model with a pretty stylish red and silver exterior. This model is also designed specifically with pet owners in mind. In this review of the Dirt Devil Vision Canister vacuum cleaner, I’ll go over this model’s strengths and weaknesses, then decide if it’s worth buying. You can currently get this unit for around $125. Here’s a rundown of the features you’ll find on-board this model: a 6 ft stretch hose, auto cord rewind, HEPA filter, a turbo brush carpet nozzle, crevice tool, dusting brush, upholstery brush, aluminum wand, 20 ft power cord, and variable speed controls. The non-marring wheels on this vacuum are pretty neat, and it’s easy to push around as well because it’s fairly lightweight.
OK, onto the negative aspects of the Dirt Devil Vision Canister vacuum. One thing that’s pretty annoying about this model is that the filters are pretty expensive and harder to find. I also don’t like how short the power cord is. The 6 ft stretch hose helps with the reach, but you still have to plug it in multiple times for larger rooms. I don’t really care for the carpet pet hair attachment that comes with it. I think this model does much better on bare floors than on carpet – especially trying to get hair that is embedded deep into the carpets. Last issue I have with the Dirt Devil Vision Canister vacuum cleaner is that some parts seem to be made of pretty cheap plastic. Other than those couple issues, this unit is quite a little workhorse. For its price range, there really aren’t many models that are much better than this one. Overall, I’m giving this model a 4 / 5 star rating.
