Long story short, I did end up getting it and was very happy with it from the first time I used it. There are a few things I love about this vacuum - it’s got a great 5 year warranty, the suction is great, the extras it comes with are very useful, it’s very quiet, the canister is easy to drag around, no bags/filters/belts to buy & as the name suggests, it is stores easily in a small area.

Of course, there are some negatives to this vacuum as well. First off, it’s pretty expensive - like most Dyson’s tend to be. Also, there is no headlight to see where you are cleaning. Some parts of the house are pretty dark, and my other vacuum was better for those areas. Lastly, the dirt bin is pretty small. It needs emptied out pretty often if you run through your whole house. These negatives still aren’t a deal breaker in my opinion. In fact, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Dyson DC21 Stowaway canister vacuum cleaner after this one has it’s run.”
