The Dyson DC25 Animal Ball vacuum is one of the most popular upright models currently on the market. Well, we were curious as to why that is. So, in this review of the Dyson DC25 Animal Ball vacuum cleaner, we’ll go over the strengths and weaknesses of this model and then give you our final analysis. Here’s a quick rundown of the best features found on this unit: great suction with Root Cyclone technology, washable filters and no bags or belts to buy, mini turbine head attachment, a brushbar that you can easily turn off, a telescoping wand, a couple extra tools, and of course the ball technology for super sharp turns. I also like the fact that this vacuum is certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, which tells you that there’s not a lot of dust escaping. As with most models from this manufacturer, the suction power is intense. This is especially useful for sucking up pet hair.
Now, onto the negative aspects of the Dyson DC25 Animal Ball vacuum. As I’m sure you already know, the $450 price tag is a little steep. It’s definitely on the high end, as far as upright models go. Another thing is that it’s pretty loud. A couple other things I’m not a big fan of: it can’t be used under furniture very well, the hand held tube isn’t too easy to use, and the Dyson DC25 Animal Ball is a little bulkier than the DC24. Overall, I absolutely love this vacuum, even with the couple issues it has. I’m giving it a 4.5 / 5 star rating.
