The Electrolux Versatility vacuum is a bagless upright model with a lot of style and some great suction power. The tangerine and white colors actually go together quite well. In this review of the Electrolux Versatility vacuum cleaner, I’ll go over this model’s strengths and weaknesses – then determine if it’s worth the nearly $230 price tag. Here’s a quick rundown of the features you’ll find on this unit: a 30 ft power cord, powerful cyclonic technology, hand turbo attachment, a quick-release wand with up to 14 ft of reach, HEPA filter, on / off switch for the brush roll, stretch hose, and also a dirt cup that’s pretty easy to empty. As I mentioned earlier, this vacuum has some great looks, but it’s also built with quality materials.
Now we’ll go over the potential negative aspects of the Electrolux Versatility vacuum. For one thing the upholstery attachment is a little loud and loses suction pretty easily. Also, at 22.6 lbs it’s a little heavier than I’d like. This is especially true if you have to lug it up and down stairs a lot. I wish it had just a couple more attachments, as it’s missing a little in that department. Also, the Electrolux Versatility does tend to get a little hot, which you’ll start to feel if you’re in a smaller space. Overall, it’s a spectacular vacuum for which I’m giving 4.5 / 5 stars.
