The Eureka AirSpeed vacuum cleaner is a brand new model, currently only available at Wal-Mart. In this review of the Eureka AirSpeed, I’ll be going over the positive features found on this model, as well as it’s negative aspects. Basically, this vacuum has Whirlwind technology, which means it has better suction power and also separates the larger debris from the smaller particles. What gives it better suction power is the wider tubes they install in the machine. A few of it’s other nice features include: a deluxe stretch hose, HEPA filter, easily removable dust cup, 27 ft power cord, turbo-powered stair and upholstery brush, extension wand, and crevice tool. Another cool thing about this vacuum is that you don’t need any tools to put it together. Also, the 12 amp motor is what really gives this model the suction power.
Now I’ll go over any negative aspects the Eureka AirSpeed vacuum may have. First off, with this kind of suction power, I wish this model came with a pet hair attachment. I know the turbo-powered brush does alright, but I think it could have been better. This model weighs just under 20 lbs, which can get a little heavy if you have to go up and down stairs a lot. Other than those minor issues, I don’t have a lot to complain about. I just hope the suction power on the Eureka AirSpeed doesn’t start going downhill, like a lot of cheaper vacuum cleaners do. So far, I haven’t heard of that happening to anyone though. Overall, I’m giving this model a 4.5 / 5 star rating. It’s a great buy at just under $120.
