A user’s Eureka Boss Smart-Vac 4870MZ vacuum review says: “The Eureka Boss Smart-Vac 4870MZ is probably the best budget vacuum you will find. It costs around $150, so it’s not super cheap. However, considering the price of some competitors, it’s on the lower end. A couple of the positive features of this vacuum are: it runs fairly quiet, the suction is top-rate, and it includes some great attachments. Also, pet hair gets picked up pretty easily.

On the downside, the Eureka Boss Smart-Vac 4870MZ weighs quite a bit. It’s fine on flat floors, but if you have to drag it up and down stairs it can get a bit heavy. And I’ve heard complaints about the construction of the unit. I haven’t had a problem, but I can tell it isn’t made with top of the line materials or anything. I know there are other similar styles in the Eureka Boss Smart-Vac 4870 series, but so far I’ve found the 4870MZ model to be excellent.”
