The Eureka EnviroVac vacuum is an upright model designed to produce less waste and also use less energy than the average model. Oh, and they use recycled packaging as well. In this review of the Eureka EnviroVac vacuum cleaner, I’ll go over the strengths and weaknesses of this model, then decide if it’s worth the $55 price tag. Here’s a rundown of the features you’ll find on this unit: extra-long crevice tool and wand, an easy empty dirt cup, washable HEPA filter, a motor that uses 33 percent less energy than typical models, an extra long stretch hose, EZ grip handle, Power Paw with Riser Visor, and an upholstery dusting brush tool. This vacuum actually has a good amount of features for how cheap it is. However, we’ll see if they are worthwhile below.
Alright, onto the negative aspects of the Eureka EnviroVac vacuum. One of the biggest complaints amongst users is that it gets clogged way too easily. The HEPA filter needs cleaned very often as well. Also, the suction isn’t that great and the plastic exterior is cheaply made. In fact, body is so cheaply made that a lot of users have had trouble with different pieces breaking inside and out. It also gets noisier the more you use it – probably from getting partially clogged inside. As you can see, the Eureka EnviroVac vacuum cleaner is not a favorite amongst its owners. This is unfortunate, because the idea of an environmentally friendly model is a great idea. Overall, I can only give this unit a 2.5 / 5 star rating.
