Our Eureka Optima review: This vacuum cleaner is lightweight, inexpensive, and very functional. The style of the Eureka Optima vacuum is OK, but the huge circular handle does make it look a little awkward. As far as features go, here’s a list of what you’ll get: adjustable handle, 12 amp motor, weighs less than 12 lbs, easy empty dust cup, a couple on-board tools, 20 ft power cord, and a hose for reaching tight places. It’s currently available for $50 at Target, which is very reasonable for what you get.
Now I’ll go over the Eureka Optima vacuum’s biggest drawbacks. The first thing I have to mention is that the material it’s made out of feels pretty cheap. However, this is to be expected from such an inexpensive vacuum cleaner. Also, the 20 ft power cord is not long enough for bigger rooms. Lastly, a few buyers complained about the Eureka Optima losing suction after a couple months of use. It seems to be a semi-common problem with this model, which is very unfortunate. Overall, I am giving this vacuum a 3.5 / 5 star rating.
