The Eureka ReadyForce vacuum is a canister model with a slim, yet attractive red exterior. Currently, you can buy it for around $60, which isn’t a bad deal. In my review of the Eureka ReadyForce, I’ll go over this unit’s positive and negative aspects, then decide if it’s worth buying. As you can imagine, this cheaper model does not have a lot of extra features on board. Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect when you buy this unit: automatic cord rewind, allergen filter, suction control switch, crevice tool, dusting brush, upholstery nozzle, and it also comes with a spare bag. At 16 lbs, this canister vacuum isn’t super light – but it’s definitely lighter than most of the competition.
Alright, now we’ll move onto the negative aspects of the Eureka ReadyForce vacuum. One thing that I’m a little leery about is the cheap plastic exterior. It’s something I would expect on a cheaper unit, so it’s not such a huge deal – plus, I haven’t come across anyone that says it broke. The 16 ft power cord is just a little too short for my liking as well. A couple other things I wish this model had: edge cleaners, adjustable handle, and a better filter. For what it is, the Eureka ReadyForce is a wonderful little vacuum cleaner. In fact, at this price level you’ll be hard pressed to find a better canister model out there. It does a wonderful job at what it was designed to do, and because of that I’m giving it a 4.5 / 5 star rating.
