The Hoover Agility vacuum is an upright model, which is also fairly inexpensive. Currently, you can buy it for as low as $90 – even though the list price is $120. In this review of the Hoover Agility vacuum cleaner, I’ll go over the positive and negative aspects of this model, then decide if it’s worth buying. Here’s a quick rundown of the features you’ll find on this unit: dual cyclone technology, 5 height adjustments, a 12 ft hose with wand, headlight, crevice tool, dusting brush, powered hand tool, and a couple on-board tools. I wouldn’t say this vacuum is packed with the greatest features, but it at least covers most of the basics. I do like that it has a couple extra tools, such as the powered hand one.
OK, onto the negative aspects of the Hoover Agility vacuum. First off, the cord is not all that long, and it doesn’t have an auto cord rewind feature. Another issue I have with this model is that it has no brush roll on and off switch. Without the switch, it tends to spread dirt around on bare floors. Also, the materials used to make it are not the highest quality. I’m not saying it’s going to break after your first time using it, but it does seem to be cheaply built. Lastly, the suction power is only so-so. Overall, the Hoover Agility seems to be a slightly above average vacuum cleaner. If you can get it very cheap, it could be a good bargain. However, if you are going to spend $120, I think there are plenty of higher quality models out there. I’m giving it a 3.8 / 5 star rating.
