My Hoover Elite Rewind review: Basically, the Hoover Elite Rewind vacuum is OK - not great or horrible, but average. That’s not to say it doesn’t have it’s positives. First off, the auto-rewind cord is a pretty cool little feature that I wish were on more vacuum cleaners. Also, the suction is very powerful and can suck up pet hair well. I also like the attachments, they are all pretty useful.

Now, let’s get to the nitty gritty. I’ve heard way too many complaints about the Hoover Elite Rewind vacuum’s belts breaking. After going through a few belts, it can start to get annoying. Also, the agitator roller bar gets clogged pretty easily. Some users even mention the plastic starting to burn if the roller bar gets stuck for too long. Lastly, the suction on this vacuum cleaner seems to diminish considerably after 6 months to 1 year of normal usage. Considering the Hoover Elite Rewind’s price and features, I’d give this vacuum 3/5 stars.
