The Hoover LiNX vacuum cleaner is a super thin model from the Platinum Collection set. In this review, I’ll go over some of the Hoover LiNX vacuum’s best features, as well as it’s worst. From a purely aesthetic point of view, this model is spectacular. Here’s a rundown of it’s best features: 11 inch cleaning path, Energy Star approved, easy empty dirt cup, low battery indicator light, WindTunnel technology, powerful 18v battery, and one-touch brush roll activation. The suction power on the LiNX is amazing – especially when you’re used to cheaper stick vacuums.
Now I’ll go over a few things I’m not too fond of. First off, the $180 price tag is definitely on the high end. In fact, the Hoover LiNX is probably double the price of most other decent stick models. Another issue is that the battery life is super short – probably around 20 minutes. This isn’t uncommon among stick vacuums though. Lastly, it’s not that great on pet hair. Other than those few problems, I would highly recommend the Hoover LiNX vacuum. I’m giving it a 4.4 / 5 star rating.
