Our Hoover Pet Rewind review: Having both style and great functionality, it’s no wonder why the Hoover WindTunnel Pet Rewind vacuum is so popular. It is a bagless model, with the canister clearly visible in the front (to show you how much dirt it’s picking up, I suppose). I really like that the cord is long enough so you shouldn’t need to plug in more than once for larger rooms – it’s 27 ft long. The 13.5 inch cleaning path is also very useful for larger rooms, which helps get your vacuuming done quicker. A few other nice features on the Hoover Pet Rewind include: a HEPA filter, motorized brush roll, retractable cord, lifetime filter, headlight, adjustable height and it has six seperate tools on-board. The tools it comes with are very useful – especially for picking up pet hair.
Now I’ll go over a couple things I don’t like about the Hoover Pet Rewind vacuum. First off, the 2 year warranty isn’t the best. This seems a little short, especially if you don’t use your vacuum that often. Another issue is that it weighs almost 18 lbs. This makes the Hoover Pet Rewind just heavy enough to be annoying when dragging up the stairs. If you have a ton of pet fur and dirt to pick up, just be aware that you may have to dig the hair out of the cup by hand (which is nasty). Most of these issues are very minor, so don’t get the idea that it’s a problem vacuum cleaner – it’s not. Overall, I’m giving this model a 4.5 / 5 star rating.
