Hoover Platinum Collection

The Hoover S3865 Cyclonic Bagless Canister is basically the same as previous Hoover canister vacuums, but with a new exterior. It does have Windtunnel technology & have great suction, so some users will definitely find this unit worth the money. However, you may just want to buy an older model if you’re looking to save money.
The Hoover UH70015 Cyclonic Bagless Upright vacuum is quite a looker. I think it is comparable to most Dyson’s as far as suction & looks go. Hoover did a good job at updating this one. It also has Windtunnel technology and a HEPA filter. It runs about $400, but has a 6 year warranty.
The Hoover UH30010COM Lightweight Bagged Upright with Canister is actually a decent combo. They compliment each other well, because the upright can vacuum your floors, while the canister can clean the harder to reach areas. It takes up a little more room to store both of them, but if you can’t decide between an upright and a canister - this may be the combo for you.
The Hoover F8100900 Carpet Cleaner rounds out the Platinum Collection of vacuum cleaners. It features an LED light and MaxExtract technology to help you get the most dirt out of your carpets. As with most carpet cleaners, it costs a good amount of money. If you need to constantly clean your carpet, it’s a good buy. However, if you just occasionally need a cleaning, you should probably just rent a unit from Wal-Mart.
Hopefully this rundown helps you pick out the best Hoover Platinum Collection vacuum for your needs.
