The Hoover Purely Clean vacuum cleaner is a bagless upright model which costs right around $120. In this review, I’ll go over the best features on the Hoover Purely Clean vacuum, and also it’s biggest weaknesses. As far as looks go, I think this model is beautiful. The design gives it the look of a much more expensive model. Here’s a rundown of the features you’ll find on this vac: cord rewind, folding handle, bottom release dirt cup, multi-height adjustments, 12 amp motor, and a rinse-able HEPA filter. This model also comes with a few tools for cleaning curtains, stairs and upholstery.
Unfortunately, the Hoover Purely Clean vacuum does have a couple negative aspects. I think the main issue customers have with this model is the durability of it. It’s definitely not made of the highest quality materials, but I wouldn’t say it’s cheap either. It’s also a little troublesome using the hose, because this vacuum has such strong suction that it pulls the unit too close. I’ve heard of a small percentage of users that had the Hoover Purely Clean break down on them within a year. While I don’t think this is common, it is definitely something to think about. Overall, I’m giving this vacuum cleaner a 3.8 / 5 star rating.
