The Hoover UH70120 vacuum is a bagless upright model, which sells for right around $100. The overall look of this model is pretty nice, and I really like the green-colored exterior. In this review of the Hoover UH70120 vacuum cleaner, I’ll go over the best and worst features this model has to offer. First off, here’s a rundown of the better features you’ll find: a 27 ft power cord, power controls at your fingertips, 5-height adjustment, cord rewind, a system check indicator light, a regular filter that can be rinsed off and a HEPA filter, an 8 ft stretch hose, and a couple on-board tools. I also love how light this model is – just 16.5 lbs. Plus, if you ever need to change the belt, it’s pretty easy to get to and replace.
Now, onto the negative aspects of the Hoover UH70120 vacuum cleaner. If you are sucking up a lot of pet hair, beware that the canister will be harder to empty. You’ll most likely have to pull it out by hand, as it get’s stuck in there. Also, I wish the roller brush had an off button. It can spread dirt around on bare floors, if you aren’t careful. Another issue that quite a number of users had with this vacuum was with the belt coming off or breaking. I know this won’t happen to everyone, but it does seem to happen often enough. Overall, I like the Hoover UH70120 well enough, and am giving it a 3.8 / 5 star rating.
