The Hoover WindTunnel Rewind vacuum is a classic upright model with a lot of style, and it’s even reasonably priced – at around $130. In this review of the Hoover WindTunnel Rewind, we’ll go over this vacuum cleaner’s strengths and weaknesses. Here’s a quick rundown of the features you’ll find on this model: HEPA filter, 27 ft retractable power cord, motorized and adjustable-height brush roll, headlight, a 13.5 inch cleaning path, mini turbine head and a couple other on-board attachment tools. The suction power on this vacuum is very good, but not quite on the level of a Dyson. I also like the fact that this is a bagless model, so you won’t have to keep buying expensive bags.
Now we’ll go over the negative aspects of the Hoover WindTunnel Rewind vacuum. The attachment wand seems a little short to me. And, I don’t like where the cord is stored on the unit – seems like it’s too low. Another thing is that it doesn’t do edges very well, but at least you can use the hand tool for tighter areas. Quite a few people have had problems with the belt breaking within a short time, which I find very unacceptable. Other than those couple issues, I can’t really think of any problems with the Hoover WindTunnel Rewind. It’s a pretty good unit for the price you pay. I’m giving it a 3.8 / 5 star rating.
