A user reviews the Kirby G5 Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner: “The Kirby G5 Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner was a real stretch on the budget, but after seeing the benefits, we couldn’t see not spending the money. The salesman used our vacuum, a Hoover, to vacuum an area of our living room. Afterward, he went over it with the Kirby. I was appalled to see all that my vacuum had missed picking up! When he used the hand attachment to vacuum my mattress, I couldn’t believe all of the dust and dirt that he got up! No wonder my dust allergies were so bad!

Although generally I highly recommend the Kirby G5 Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner, there are a couple drawbacks. First of all is the weight of it. It was built to last and you can tell just by trying to pick it up! Second, the Kirby line of products are not in-expensive. Bags are quite expensive at 3 for $9.00 and are only available from Kirby dealers which aren’t always convenient. With all of this in mind, I have to admit that I’m not sorry that we made this purchase. I feel like the vacuum does a very thorough job of cleaning which is why we purchased it”
