It has additional wattage than the majority of manufacturers. The power nozzle does a fantastic job, as well. The button is on the handle and is simple to control. The canister is as uncomplicated to handle as a piece of luggage to carry. Its carrying handle is well located for going upstairs.

The Miele S5280 Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaner left the home smelling sparkling and fresh following vacuuming. It did not have that vacuum cleaner stench after vacuuming. Pet odors were vanished. It picked up cat fur incredibly well. I vacuum often, but still half filled the supplied container on the first pass. I had to clean the power nozzle following vacuuming the rugs. Two screws on the base of the nozzle head come out with either/or a flat tip or Philips screwdriver. Then just tug on the end a little and it comes apart. I cleaned the cat hairs off the brushes with a pair of clippers. It was very simple to clean.

I paid $799 for the Miele S5280 Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaner, but I’m not well off enough to be replacing $500 or $600 vacuums every time I turn around. This is a keeper. There is a seven-year warrantee on the motor. It’s quiet but very powerful. Made in Germany. Quality - the best. It’s the industry standard since the 1890’s. You get what you pay for.”
